What is an eBook?
An eBook, or electronic book, is a digital book that you can read on a computer screen.
What program do I need to read the ebook?
eBooks can be downloaded in various file formats. Ebooks.com.lk has chosen to use a file format know as Adobe PDF. Adobe is the name of the company that created the PDF. PDF stands for Portable Document Format. The Portable Document Format is the most universal of file formats. Many computers have the potential to read Adobe PDF files as long as they are equipped with software from Adobe known as the Adobe Acrobat Reader. This software is available free from adobe at http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep.html
Our eBooks are also compressed in (ZIP) format, so you will need a copy of Winzip (Shareware) http://www.winzip.com/ or Stuffit for the MAC to unzip them.
Can I read eBooks with something other than the Adobe Reader?
No. eBooks available from Ebooks.com.lk can only be read using Adobe® Reader. We do not support other eBook formats at this time.
How do I purchase/buy ebooks from the site?
Once you have decided which ebook to purchase, click on the 'add to cart' button to add the ebook to your shopping cart. Subsequently, upon successful 'checkout', you will receive an order confirmation email as well as a separate email with full instructions for downloading the ebook.
When will I receive my ebook?
Immediately! After completing your transaction, you will receive an email which enables you to download your eBook by simply clicking on the provided link.
My download email did not arrive yet?
This can be remedied fairly quickly. First be sure and check you "Spam", and "Junk" mail folders (or the equivalent). Our download emails are automated and some email ISP's do not like that. If it is not there, Please contact us and make sure to include your order number. We will forward your downloads ASAP via manually delivery.
Do I have to pay shipping and handling charges for eBooks?
No. You do not have to pay shipping and handling charges for eBooks.
Do I need to be online to read eBooks?
No, you do not need to be online to read eBooks. After the eBook is downloaded you can disconnect from the network and read it offline. Your eBook will remain on your computer and available for unlmited viewing unless you delete it.
What payment methods do you accept?
We currently accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, JCP, PayPal, 2Checkout. You can select your choice of payment method in the checkout process of our store.
How to Buy a Gift Certificate?
An E-Book is a great thing to give! Give that special someone a personalized gift certificate from our ebook shop. Our gift certificates are very easy to create and redeem!
Simply click on the "Gift Certificates’" Link on the Categories section then complete the information in gift certificate page and click the 'Add to Cart' button.
Please note, the gift certificate will be EMAILED to the recipient, based on the Recipient email address provided. Please check the "Email this Gift Certificate?" button on gift certificate page.
If the value of your gift certificate is less than the total price of your order, you’ll need to pay the difference! But if your gift certificate has a value greater than the total, gift certificate balance will be remain and can be applied to future purchases.
How to Check My Gift Certificate Balance?
First you need to login your account using your user name and password. Then click on "Gift Certificate Balance" link under My Profile section of left hand side menu. Enter your First Name, Last Name and Voucher Code which was included in gift certificate and click on "GET BALANCE" button.
Do You Offer Bulk Discount Pricing?
Yes we do! All discounts are automatically deducted at checkout. We have a built in bulk pricing special for all larger orders.

If your Ebook quality is defective or If you're not 100% thrilled and delighted, please contact us for refund within 30 days.
